Close the fixed-term lease loophole

Despite a 5 per cent cap, CMHC reported that new tenants in Nova Scotia saw rents increase an average of 28 per cent last year. This is unacceptable. The cap is not working and fixed-term leases are being used to get around it. 

The more than 300,000 renters across this province deserve better. It's time to close the fixed-term lease loophole. Sign below if you agree.
