Despite the rent cap, rents keep rising out of control in Nova Scotia. This is unacceptable. The cap is not working and fixed-term leases are being used to get around it.
The more than 300,000 renters across this province deserve better. It's time to close the fixed-term lease loophole and give renters more stability.
