The Houston government has said they want to help health care workers who have worked so hard during a tough time with a “thank you” bonus. However, he is excluding full-time permanent employees that are off on medical leave.
When it became clear that health care workers off on maternity or parental leave would not get the full bonus, changes were made to ensure they would. The same should be done for those who are off on medical leave.
